– Contact us for more information.
In-Office Visits
We are excited to start seeing patients in the office again. As we ease back into in-office visits, we ask that each patient answer the following screening questions prior to coming into the office, for the safety of our dietitians and the community.
Screening Questions
Do you have any of the following symptoms? Fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell?
Have you been in contact with anyone who has the above symptoms or anyone who has tested positive for COVID 19 in the last 14 days?
Have you traveled out of the country in the last 14 days?
If you answered yes to any of these questions we ask that you call our office and re-schedule your appointment for a virtual Telehealth visit.
In-Office Visit Guidelines
Confirm that you answered “no” to all the screening questions prior to the appointment. If you answered “yes” to any of the questions, please let us know. Telehealth appointments are available per insurance benefits.
Your appointment must be attended alone with the exceptions of minors. Only dietitians and patients with appointments may be in the building.
Upon entering the building please wear a mask and use the hand sanitizer at the front desk.
Please keep a distance of 6 feet away from others in the office as far as possible.
Our dietitians have clear sneeze guards on their desks, so once you are seated in the office for your visit, you can remove your mask if you are comfortable doing so.
Telehealth Visits
We continue to provide consultations via Telehealth. Our dietitians are available to meet with you virtually via HIPAA compliant encrypted video platform ZOOM suitable for medical providers. We continue to provide our unique educational process, personalized meal plans, and health coaching in the same way we do for all in-office visits. We are here for you – to support you in maintaining your health through this pandemic.
Most health insurance plans continue to expand Telehealth coverage during COVID19 – therefore our services are available to you as they usually would be for all in-office visits. We will verify benefits for all plans and will notify you of your Telehealth benefits in order to enable you to meet virtually, if you prefer to do so.

Where can you get more information about COVID-19?
We understand you may have questions and concerns about the Novel Coronavirus. You may be receiving information from numerous sources, not all of which may be reliable. The best current source of information is the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) at CDC.gov. This has comprehensive, updated, trusted information about symptoms, transmission, prevention, testing, and treatment. A local source of information would be the NC Department of Health and Human Services under the “Public Health” tab at ncdhhs.gov or at 1-866-462-3821. At that site, you can enroll for regular updates on COVID-19 that may have local importance.
