Your Initial Visit

At this session, you will meet with your provider, who will take the time to listen to your story and understand your health goals and concerns. Each person is unique, so we take an in-depth look at all factors that affect your health, such as family health history, personal medical history, your environment, lifestyle behaviors, individual food preferences, usual food intake, cultural factors, medications and supplements, and any other pertinent information. We take the time to listen to you and understand what outcomes are important to you.

At this meeting, your provider will also provide education related to your specific concerns and discuss an approach that will work for you to achieve your goals.

What to bring to your initial visit:

  • A 3-day food record if you have time to complete this before your initial visit
  • List of medications and supplements
  • Relevant lab and medical reports if you have recent ones available

Each person is unique, and we don’t offer a one-size-fits-all solution, as we believe that a personalized approach works best.

What to Expect

Second Visit

Between your first visit and your second visit, your provider will create a personalized plan to help you achieve your goals. At your second visit, you will receive an in-depth nutrition analysis report that examines your typical daily food intake.

Your provider will also spend most of this visit discussing the recommended plan that has been developed for you. This appointment will review all the practical aspects of your personal plan, including an individualized meal plan, discussion of suitable recipes, supplements, condition-specific dietary guidelines, lifestyle behaviors, and any other information specific to your goals.

Follow-Up Visits

Research shows that regular visits, which offer continued monitoring and support, are critical to achieving personal health goals. Your provider is committed to your success, and at each follow-up visit, will take the time to listen to your questions and provide answers. Your dietitian will also monitor selected goals, provide problem-solving opportunities, additional resources, and support to ensure that you are constantly moving toward your goals.

The dietitians at Anne Till Nutrition Group are here for you and make every effort to support you every step of the way. Your dietitian seeks to collaborate with you in a non-judgmental and empathetic manner to ensure you feel comfortable and supported along your health journey.

We are pleased to announce that we are contracted with several major health insurance providers, including:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)
  • BCBS North Carolina (BCBSNC)

Billing and Claims Process:

For clients who are members of these insurance companies, we offer the convenience of filing claims on your behalf. However, it is important to note that you will be responsible for all co-pays, coinsurances, and deductibles as per your specific insurance plan.

Verification of Benefits:

Prior to your appointment, we will verify your benefits with your health insurance company. Please keep in mind that verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment from your insurance provider. In cases where your insurance company does not cover our services, you will be responsible for all associated fees.

Responsibilities of the Client:

We encourage you to understand the specifics of your coverage and to be prepared for any portion of the costs that your insurance may not cover.

Other Insurance Plans:

If you are insured by a company with which we are not in-network, Anne Till Nutrition Group operates as a fee-for-service practice. This means payment is required in full at the time of your session. However, you may still be eligible for reimbursement as an out-of-network service. Upon request, we will provide you with a detailed statement to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
